43 Years of Professional Forwarding Solutions 1979-2022
1979 Freightdata 2000 Corp has been providing Freight Forwarding solutions since 1979.
These early solutions using Data General computers ran under their operating systems and then SCO UNIX. Many of those customers are still running today although these have all migrated to Windows.
1995 work was started on a Windows solution which would eventually replace the UNIX product.
1996 saw the introduction of it's first Windows 95/NT Freight Forwarding solution.
1996 also saw the opening of it's US office based in Florida.
1997 the software now reflects he importance of worldwide use as it can be switched between 5 languages whilst running.
1998 saw the launch of Version 5 that extended the available database platforms to include Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server and ORACLE
and also enabled Freightdata 2000 to run under Windows 98.
1999 During this year and the next Freightdata 2000 increased its Global representation by providing it's own technical staff and dedicated offices to support customers directly in their own languages and local needs in France & Spain. Further expansion took place with offices opening in Beijing and the Middle East.
2000-2012 Freightdata 2000 continued to develop its Freight Forwarding solutions.
2013
saw the introduction of Freightdata's Freight Forwarding solution for
Windows 8.
2015
sees the introduction of the Freightdata Document Storage (FDS) system. All documents for a shipment can be viewed, accessed, copied, printed and emailled from anywhere in Freightdata.
Freightdata continues to work closely with Microsoft, ensuring that
Freightdata runs on the latest platforms
and supports the most recent databases.
PRESENT Freightdata looks to the future with Cloud databases and
Business Apps ......
