Orient Worldwide, one of  CargoFind’s oldest users  receives a vote of thanks from Freightdata for their kind words on CargoFind. They have recommended the product to many users in the past and most recently  OBC Shipping in Leith, Scotland. And  now they  both gain the advantages of the product.

Orient was especially active with a number of issues with CargoFind in its early days and we would like to thank them for the help they gave to Freightdata’s support operation.

Text Box: The company operates 25 workstations running FD2 and two servers, one running FD2 and the other running CargoFind. Orient has recently expanded and moved to new offices in Basildon Essex.   Patrick Moore director of Orient uses FD2000 to control all his freight operations. They specialise in the Far East trade market controlling large numbers of containers . They use CargoFind to keep customers informed of the movement of their cargo and provide automatic email alerts for Export & Import consolidations.   Patrick Moore can be contacted on  +44 1268 567700 and  Patrick.Moore@orientworldwide.com   Text Box: Orient's office in Basildon Essex  UK Text Box: Freightdata will soon add into the CargoFind menu ,the option for customers to book cargo direct with the freight forwarder.  They will also be able to request quotations directly to the sales department  as well as book cargo via each operational or sales representative.   The savings will be considerable as customers will not need constant call-backs to confirm general details of the cargo and this will allow freight companies to plan loads in advance. We expect there will still be the need for contact by phone to clarify certain points but in general, there will be no need to write out long descriptions. Letters of credit can be completed by the customer and cut and pasted into the FD cargo description.
